The Burlington - Seaside Guest House & Restaurant, Whiting Bay, Arran
We are now open and looking forward to welcoming guests. We are taking every precaution for your safety. We will have hand sanitiser available and our staff will be wearing gloves and masks at all times. We will do self check-ins and the restaurant will be bookings only so everyone can keep the social distance required of 2 meters until this changes. We are also recommending that you book your ferry travel as quickly as possible due to travel restrictions although this is changing weekly.
Built in 1905 as a guest house by a local blacksmith and run lovingly by that same family for over 80 years, the guest house has only changed hands a few times since then always with the same love, care and attention. Until later years when it became a little neglected, then in 1985 John and Doreen Lamont bought it over and and restored it to its former glory. We now continue with the upgrading of the building and hope you enjoy it.
